INTRODUCTION
Haim Dotan Ltd. is a global architectural and urban design firm focusing on cutting-edge, innovative design.
The firm provides a wide range of design services ranging from master planning and building design to interior design. The firm puts emphasis on accurate buildings details, construction timetables and economical analysis of design alternatives and systems.
In 2008 Haim Dotan Ltd won the Israeli Foreign Ministry B.O.T Tender for the design-build-operate of the Israel National Pavilion in World EXPO 2010, Shanghai, China
Recent projects range from a landmark, 500 room, 50 storey futuristic tower-hotel in Kazakhstan; Master Plan of 2000 hectares, Lake Kupchguy, Kazakhstan, to a to a 140,000 sq.m. office-commercial-residential neighborhood incorporating in Sofia, Bulgaria; to a 100,000 sq.m. residential neighborhood incorporating 1000 apartments in the Czech Republic; to “Nollywood”, Nigeria’s Hollywood, a 5,500 sq.m. visionary television and production center for the African market.
Haim Dotan Ltd. employs 15 staff including American-trained architects and is centered in Israel. The office uses AutoCAD, Microstation, and Paracloud modeling software. Haim Dotan, the firm’s principal, is an American and Israeli citizen who graduated from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles with B.Arch and M.Arch degrees.
Haim Dotan, prior to opening his office in Israel, was the principal of Insight Design in Manhattan, New York. Working in Japan, he was the architectural representative of the office of Kisho Kurokawa Architects on a 45-story office tower built in Brisbane, Australia, in a joint venture with Peddle, Thorp & Walker Architects of Australia.
The firm has extensive experience in international design and coordination. It collaborates with international architectural and engineering firms on various projects.
Haim Dotan Ltd. has worked closely with The Canadian Highway Corporation on the “Cross Israel Project” as well as with Dorbyl Structural Engineering of South Africa, in the design, fabrication and erection of steel construction systems built in Israel and the firm of Zeidler Roberts Partnership Architects of Toronto, Canada on the I-Max Theatre project in Eilat, Israel.
Currently the firm has over 1,000,000 sq.m. under construction of residential, office and institutional buildings of visionary cutting edge projects. |
